Uri Gershuni Born in Tel Aviv in 1970, currently living in Mallorca, Spain. BFA and MFA from the Departments of Photography and Fine Arts, Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem, and Tel Aviv.
Recipient of the Young Artist Award, the Israeli Ministry of Science, Culture and Sport (2000), the Young Photographer Award, Haifa Museum of Art (2005), a prize on behalf of the Heskia-Hacmun Law Firm (2007), Israel’s Minister of Culture ‘Art Encouragement’ Award (2012), Minister of Culture Award (2018).
Gershuni has had solo exhibitions at the Israel Museum Jerusalem, Haifa Museum of Art, Herzliya Museum of Art, and Chelouche Gallery Tel Aviv.
He participated in numerous group exhibitions in Israel and abroad.
His works are part of the collections of the Israel Museum Jerusalem, Tel-aviv Museum of Art, Haifa Museum of Art, Petah Tikva Museum of Art, and many private collections.
